Shadi Shamsedean, Founder & Agency Principal, Doctor of Pharmacy
Shadi Shamsedean was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, where his deep connection to the community was forged from an early age. Driven by a passion for health and service, he pursued higher education at Wayne State University’s Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, earning his Doctorate of Pharmacy.
Following graduation, Shadi embarked on a distinguished career in healthcare, ultimately serving as Director of Pharmacy for over a decade. His leadership and dedication to patient care were hallmarks of his tenure, during which he led clinical teams, optimized patient outcomes, and implemented innovative pharmacy management strategies.
In addition to his formal pharmaceutical training, Shadi has dedicated over 15 years to the study of herbal medicine, developing a deep knowledge of more than 600 herbal remedies used to address a wide range of health conditions. This unique blend of traditional and natural healing practices informs his holistic approach to health and wellness.
After 10 successful years in pharmacy administration, Shadi made the intentional decision to retire early from his role in pharmacy. Motivated by a continued desire to serve, he transitioned into the field of health insurance, where he now focuses on helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of Medicare and other health coverage options.
Shadi brings a uniquely personalized and clinically informed approach to Medicare health plan selection. He dives deep—down to the cellular level—into each beneficiary’s specific health conditions, prescription needs, preferred doctors, and hospital network preferences. By combining a lifetime of clinical, pharmaceutical, and holistic knowledge, he ensures that every client receives a plan that aligns with their individual medical profile and long-term wellness goals. Shadi now trains his entire team to adopt this same level of precision and insight, setting a new standard for excellence and care in the health insurance industry.

In recent years, Desiree has focused her efforts on guiding seniors who are turning 65 through the process of enrolling in Medicare for the first time. She is known for her clear, patient-centered approach that helps individuals understand their options and confidently choose the coverage that best fits their health and financial needs. Her background in pharmacy allows her to offer a uniquely informed perspective on prescription coverage and chronic condition management.
Desiree shares both a personal and professional partnership with her husband, Shadi Shamsedean, a fellow Doctor of Pharmacy and health advocate. Together, they are proud parents of two children and are united by a shared mission to improve the health and lives of those they serve.

Amir Albassam was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, where his dedication to service and community took shape at an early age. With a natural ability to connect with people and a passion for helping others make informed healthcare decisions, Amir has spent the past 15+ years earning the trust of seniors by guiding them through their Medicare plan options with clarity, care, and integrity.
